Phase 2 of Magnolia’s new addition included the renovation of a historic baseball field, originally known as Katy Park. This field was once home to the minor league team, the Waco Pirates, and fans got to watch them play against legends like Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth. The park has been revived as a ballpark so families and friends can come play. Phase 2 also included a concession stand, restrooms, a pavilion, shaded picnic area, and a designated area for food trucks.
